In this class, Robbie will teach you some of the necessary techniques needed to successfully knit this adorable bag.
In this class, you will learn to:
- Pick up stitches on the edge of a project.
- Slip stitches in a pattern.
- casting on in the middle of the row
- bind off in the middle of the row
- whip stitch

Materials:
For the small bag: 1 ball of Queensland Cairns for the Main Color and 1 ball of Queensland Cairns for the Contrast Color; US size 7 24" circular needle; stitch marker; copy of Market Square pattern; and darning needle.
For the large bag: 2 balls of Queensland Cairns for the Main Color and 1 ball of Queensland Cairns for the Contrast Color; US size 7 32" circular needle; stitch marker; copy of Market Square pattern; and darning needle.
Homework: Purchase and print copy of Market Square pattern from Ravelry. Come to the class with the bottom portion of the bag already knitted. Follow the pattern instructions, and slip the first stitch of each row purlwise. Leave your live stitches on your needles.
